The price includes a pair of side steps (one for each side), full powder coated steel bracket set and all bolts and nuts etc needed to fit them straight on to the chassis using a simplener and without the need for drilling as all existing holes are used! These can be fitted with mud flaps. These side steps fit to existing points under the chassis. There is no drilling needed or pulling up carpets in the foot well. Step1: Check that you have all the brackets. Step2: If you have a plastic undertray this will need to be removed at this point using the screw/clips which hold it on.

Step 3: Locate the holes under the chassis and the sils by holding up the corresponding bracket. Step 4: Remove any grommets or seals to reveal the holes for fitting (if they are not already open) These may be covered over very well. Step 5: Using either the standard'hex bolts'to screw straight into the captive nuts, or the'T bolts'that anchor into the open drain holes. Fasten each the brackets in turn.

Do not fully tighten them yet. Step 6: Position the runner bolts under the steps to line up with the protruding brackets, then lay the steps on top. Step 7: Tighten all the bolts up starting with the brackets then the steps. Step 8: If you had a plastic undertray and wish to re-fit it.

Hold it in situ and mark where the brackets protrude. Cut the marked places to allow re-fitting over the brackets. Step 9: Check the bolts regularly to ensure none of the nuts have come loose.

Any chips on the brackets should be covered to prolong the life of the brackets. Step 10: The side steps need washing regularly with hot soapy water and kept dirt free, especially in winter when salt is on the roads. Direct 4x4 Manufacturing Ltd has been established since 1997.
